what is the difference between the regular 5/8-24 flash hider and the scar 5/8-24 flash hider?

The manufacturer does not provide the differences between the two, but they make a very distinct separation between MPN: DA302 and MPN: DA305.

Will this work on my 300 blackout? has the same thread pitch

The Dead Air Armament Key Mount Flash Hider (MPN:DA305) would work with a 300 Blackout AR15, you would likely have a little gap of threads showing due to its muzzle seating design but should still work. The shoulder seating model catered for AR15/AR10 model rifles can be found by using the link below:

Will this DA306 fit a regular ar15 1/2-28 pitch? Im confused with the difference of a DA306 and DA301

The SCAR16 device (DA306) is muzzle seating, as the DA301 is shoulder seating. You will possibly have a little gap of threads showing utilizing the DA306 compared to the Shoulder seating Flash Hider
I would recommend torquing the DA306 down 25-30 FT-LBS and then checking the alignment before sending rounds down range just to be safe, if you intend to use it for your AR15. The DA301 can be found by using the link below:

Will this fit a 6.5 Grendel AR15 barrel?

Yes. The Dead Air Armament Key Mount Flash Hider will support .30 cal and smaller, including the 6.5 Grendel. So as long as you select the correct thread pitch it will work.

Yes. The Dead Air Armament Key Mount Flash Hider includes a set of shims for installation. All dead Air muzzle devices will include shims when applicable.

The Dead Air Armament Key Mount Flash Hider supports .30 cal and smaller. So 300 Blackout will not have a problem working with this flash hider.

Will this work on 7.62 x 39 ?

.30 cal is .30 cal, the muzzle threads are more important. Statistically, *most* 7.62x39 is propelled out of an AK, so being as you didn’t provide that info, that’s what we’ll assume you have. If that is indeed the case, you’ll almost definitely need the one with 14x1 LH threading.

Would this be good for 7.62 x 39 on an AR platform 16 inch barrel? And still would not ping with a Dead Air can or any other?

The Dead Air Armament Key Mount Flash Hider will support a rifle chambered in 7.62x39 without an issue. Even with a suppressor equipped it will fit and function just fine as long as you get the correct thread pitch for your barrel.
