I'm shooting an AR-15, 5.56. Can't imagine I'll shoot further than 100 yards. Which do you recommend... the 1-6 or 2.5-10? — 2 Answers

I'd personally recommend the 1-6x as it is the most well rounded, but you could always pair the 2.5-10x with a red dot for even more functionality. It really depends on what your plan is for the rifle. But if its meant to be a do-all, then I'd personally prefer the 1-6x24 because of its capabilities at the 1x, "no magnification" setting.

If you’re staying within 100 yards, iron sights or a red dot would be the best choice.
