Is this the correct castle nut for Ergo brace adapter model = MPN: 4454?

Expert Answer
A

You can use this castle nut for that adapter, though some have found the buffer tubes to seat better without a castle nut at all. The adapter uses a set screw so the castle nut is not required.

How would you stake this castle nut?

You would stake similar to a standard castle nut. Instead of pushing material into a gap, you would simply push material towards the castle nut. The pressure will lock the castle nut in place.
