Is this the correct castle nut for Ergo brace adapter model = MPN: 4454? Expert Answer

You can use this castle nut for that adapter, though some have found the buffer tubes to seat better without a castle nut at all. The adapter uses a set screw so the castle nut is not required.

How would you stake this castle nut? Expert Answer

You would stake similar to a standard castle nut. Instead of pushing material into a gap, you would simply push material towards the castle nut. The pressure will lock the castle nut in place.

Replaced my old c nut since my prior wrench was a piece of junk. This worked perfectly w/ my new Ncstar wrench. The cuts gave a good purchase for the nub on the wrench. Would not have minded paying a little bit less, but OK for what it is.

No need to spend extra money when this does the job. Threads were clean and it's what you would expect from a castle nut. No frills no thrills. BONUS: Mine did come with a sticker to still on your work bench or tool box.

Works just as it should. I put this on a buffer tube for my build after I had messed one up bad enough that it had to be replaced. There were no fitment issues or any problems with the fit or finish.
