Economy and warranty that works
Written on Oct 02, 2025
I own upwards of 20 different Vortex items, and this is no exception. It performs as expected, and it's economical and adequate for its intended use on a 22 rimfire rifle.
The warranty is "bulletproof" (excuse the pun) as I've also made a successful repair claim and it was handled efficiently.

Review for
Ergo Grip Buffer Castle Nuts
Replaced my old c nut since my prior wrench was a piece of junk. This worked perfectly w/ my new Ncstar wrench. The cuts gave a good purchase for the nub on the wrench. Would not have minded paying a little bit less, but OK for what it is.

Review for
AIM Sports Inc AR15/M4 A2 Style Muzzle Brake
This has been the least costly means to convert from flash hider to brake. Since I haven't (and won't) have a way to compare this, all I can really say is others near me say it's loud (not unlike other devices).
My only issue has been properly fitting the brake w/ the supplied crush washer. Despite repeated tighten/loosen cycles, it' just won't get to position. But what did work was using the OLD washer, and to a bigger pain, grinding down an old washer.

Functional and excellent quality

As noted, this item comes w/ a pin and spring which is somewhat of a comfort knowing that the pin is rather small and potentially subject to deformation (or loss). Priced right for the relative quality, but I also purchased the UTG latch and I prefer its larger/longer purchase area and lower price point.

Inexpensive and does the job

Easy installation for my PSA charging handle. It would be a big plus if they added the pin for a "just in case" episode. Couldn't be a production cost for much more than a dime. I wouldn't even worry about the spring which is included in some kits like the Strike.
Ergonomically works well, too.
