Is graphite grey dark grey? How does it compare to Hogue grey stock?

The Ergo Grip LowPro 18-Slot Ladder Rail Covers Graphite Grey color will be a darker grey color. It may be similar to the Hogue grey stock but the shade of finish between parts and manufacturers will vary. So an exact match cannot be guaranteed.

These are just rail covers. They fill the slots on a picatinny rail to allow for a more comfortable grip. They are not risers.

The S&W M&P15-22 uses Picatinny "style" rails so they may not be up to specifications. These are usually pretty secure, and they're a bit flexible, so they should link in securely despite that.
