This Evolution Gun Works Leupold DeltaPoint Pro Sight Mount will only fit the Sig P220 10mm Hunter and Sig P220 Super Match SAO. You would need the mount compatible with the P226, P229, P320 Etc, found by using the link below:

Will this fit a Sig P220 Match Elite (.45ACP) in place of the adjustable rear sight?

It may fit, as long as Sig Sauer used the same adjustable rear sight for the P210 10mm Hunter and Super Match SAO as they did for your Match Elite. I would recommend confirming the exact style with Sig Sauer. This is the fit information provided by EGW:

No, it will not as that pistol is cut specifically for a red dot already. MPN:49392 is meant specifically for the following handguns:

While it would, it would also require modification of the plate. This is the information direct from EGW:

"*For this mount to work with the Holosun 407K and 507K, the rear pins on the mount MUST be removed by milling or filing. The rear two locater pins on the plate must be filed off in order to allow the 407K/507K to fit."

info says this will allow mounting a delta point pro or rms. is that correct? i thought those rds's had very different footprints.

No, they are not very different. Both the Delta Point Pro and Shield RMS red dots use the J.P. Enterprises J.Point mounting pattern with minor modifications in regards to overall dimensions of the red dot and how many recoil/indexing posts they account for.
