Yes, this barrel will work with an upper that has M4 feed ramps cut, but the "big bore" feed ramp on the barrel extension will not line up with the M4 cuts. This should not impact the function of the rifle.

Faxon customer service gave me a different answer. They recommended an upper without M4 feed ramps.

Funny, Faxon just gave me the opposite answer when I e-mailed them directly. Said they recommend an upper WITHOUT M4 ramps.
