Yes, this barrel will work with an upper that has M4 feed ramps cut, but the "big bore" feed ramp on the barrel extension will not line up with the M4 cuts. This should not impact the function of the rifle.

Coming in at 1-1/2 pounds, this Faxon pencil barrel is a fantastic way to shed weight for an AR build. It was a very snug fit into the upper receiver, eliminating the need for a bedded compound. I can’t wait to take it hog hunting.
