Purchased this barrel for a deer rifle build. Fit & finish were excellent. Accuracy has been very good on the range sighting in the scope and one shot, one deer to the freezer this past deer season.
Coming in at 1-1/2 pounds, this Faxon pencil barrel is a fantastic way to shed weight for an AR build. It was a very snug fit into the upper receiver, eliminating the need for a bedded compound. I can’t wait to take it hog hunting.
Great barrel for the price. Very accurate but you may have to try a few different brands of ammo to find what shoots the best. Mine shot the federal the best but I only tried the Winchester and Federal.
