Faxon barrels are not dimpled from the factory. The end user/builder will need to dimple the barrel if that is how they choose to install the gas block.

I don't know if they changed the design but the 14.5 pencil with a pin and welded muzzle device i got here in September 2019 had a slight dimple. Amazing barrel by the way.
