No, this rail will sit slightly higher than the factory rail.

How to mount this on a generation "2" PS90? Can it be done? Are there any instructions?

This will only fit the PS90's that have the top rail portion open with a cut out to accommodate this rail mount. This should fit most PS90's although you may need to remove a portion of the top rail to accommodate this mount.
