K2 is K2. Omega was the place name for this product. K1 is tapered castle nut and K2 is lever lock for further elaboration of their products. Both are fantastic and negate the necessity for staking castle nuts and allowing for easier removal when necessary. Still make sure you torque correctly. End result between K1 & K2 are horse a piece. Customer service is excellent and products are all top notch.
