This does not come with a bolt carrier group but it does not require a special one, it will work with most standard bolt carriers.
The first-generation Echo needs a proprietary bolt. The second generation is called Echo AR-II, and works with any Mi-Spec full-auto style bolt.
Yes you do need specific BCG. I learned this morning when i installed echo ar2 in my ar15 from another ar15 and it doesnt work. I swapped this BCG from where echo trigger was in. Now it worked. So yes need be specific BCG for Echo AR 2 trigger
The AR2 requires a full-auto capable carrier to function properly. Some "standard" AR-15s come equipped with a semi-auto only carrier. The AR2 does not come with a carrier. Check with your firearm's manufacturer or view comparative photos online to determine which style carrier you have. If your firearm has a semi-auto carrier, you will need to purchase a full-auto carrier. The bolt itself, is irrelevant as it can be swapped from one carrier to the other (provided the caliber isn't changed.)
Clearly states that a full-auto BCG is required for proper functioning. NOT required is any PROPRIETARY BCG. So, an aftermarket BCG which is full-auto rated, which is compatible with your firearm, should meet the requirement.
What should’ve been said was it won’t work with the bc that has a notch, cut, In the bottom front where it would grab the spent cartridge. The other bc have a complete circle allowing it grab and hold to cartridge for it to be ejected also if you’ve already pulled the trigger back into the wall you can put it back into safety to stop the next round from going off. I would recommend only doing it in an emergency situation since it’s going to eventually tear your bolt carrier, accidentally discharge it will tear into bc making it and causing other parts to fail. You also have to remember that it’s loaded until it fires the 2 rounds or is put back into safe. Having a round of the rifle after the 203 got a round stuck in the tube causing an explosion in your rifle barrel.
