Per FoxPro, "The Shockwave can play a number of different audio file types. This includes FOXPRO’s
proprietary FXP and 24B files, MP3 files, uncompressed WAV files, and FLAC files. If you are
using your own audio files, make sure it is an MP3, uncompressed WAV, or FLAC file, otherwise
it will not work."
The keypad has a green illumination while the actual screen is black with yellow print and just gets brighter, but it also has a Day and Night mode, which will change the screen to white with black print for the "Day" mode and will just significantly dim all brightness for the "Night" mode.
Included is the TX-1000 remote, which sports a 2.7" LCD backlit display and provides remote operation of the entire system and runs on three AA batteries (not included).
