What material is this made from?

The Geissele AR-10/SR25 Reaction Rod is made from 4140 Chrome Moly Steel and is ground to the exact diameter. It will enter the upper receiver with no wobble.

Is this not compatible with an aero m5 upper? I bought one and can't get the upper past the locking lugs.

This should be compatible with the M5 upper. You would just slide it in from the back of the receiver until it contacts the lugs in the barrel.
