Is this a nfa item? if not does require a m16 bolt carrier? — 2 Answers

This is not an NFA item because this will not make a semi-auto lower work in full auto. This is just a trigger group for a full auto capable lower receiver. The lower receiver needs to be a full auto lower to be able to make use of this trigger group.
As the previous answer mentioned. This is not an NFA item. Wanted to clarify as there may have been some confusion at the end of their post. This item does not need a full auto lower to make use of. This trigger works wonderfully as a two stage 3-3.5lb trigger in a semi-auto AR15 lower. I believe the other post was saying to make use of "full auto" you need a RDIAS or registered full auto lower. I personally own 3 of these in standard AR15 lowers; I bought them for if and when I get an SOT. Great investment.
