Will this work with a fixed stock AR-15?

No. The GG&G Receiver End Plate Sling Attachments will work for AR15/M16 style platform rifles with adjustable stocks. I'd recommend using the GG&G Looped Receiver End Plate Sling Adapter for Fixed Stocks found using the following link.

That is correct, the only loop will be on the left.
