The Glock 19 OEM Dual Spring Recoil Assembly has a spring weight of 18 pounds. The Glock 17 spring has a weight of 16 pounds.

No. The recoil spring between the gen 4 and 5 Glocks differ slightly. The correct recoil spring for your Glock can be found using the following link:
