Does the slide cut fit Vortex Viper?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Ethan, Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on October 06, 2022

No, the Grey Ghost Precision Sig P365 Version 1 Pistol Slide is cut to accept optics with the Shield RMSc footprint like the Sig Romeo Zero. The Vortex Viper used the Docter/Noblex footprint and would not be compatible.

Will this work with the holosun 507k

Manufacturer Answer
A
Answered by Grey Ghost, Manufacturer from ID, United States, on July 21, 2021

The best answer is maybe. The tolerances vary much more on certain aluminum housing red dots than others, while our tolerances are much tighter with a smaller variance. Any one out of two 507k optics might drop right in without handfitting, or both might run too big and need some material removed. As for the screws, you would need to measure and source the exact length 6-32 screws (the screws that came with the optic will likely be too long)
