How do you adjust spring? cut it? what is full length poundage?

The GUNTEC USA AR-15/AR-10 Adjustable Flat Flex Chrome Stock Spring has adjustable tension by trimming to coils as needed. Guntec USA does not provide the pound weight of the spring out of the box.
