Is this scope good for only Sub sontic ammo? Or can standard 22 lr ammo be used with the bdc

The 22LR Subsonic reticle is specifically calibrated for both 40gr CCI Standard Velocity and 38gr Eley Subsonic ammunition, though many similar types will work very well.

I can't give you a complete answer without knowing the rifle, but you'll be looking for a set of high height rings with a 30mm tube diameter.
