I contacted Hera Arms directly, and was told that the gen 2 will be completely different

Just got mine, and unlike gen 1, the gen 2 requires a RIFLE buffer tube, not a carbine one! I say again, gen 1 uses carbine buffer tube, gen 2 uses RIFLE LENGTH.
