The HERA Arms CQR Buttstock GEN.2 can only fit a rifle length A2 buffer tube. A carbine length Mil-spec or commercial tube does not fit due to dimensional differences between them and A2 tubes.

To fit the HERA Arms CQR Buttstock GEN.2 you would have to replace your buffer tube and buffer system with a rifle length A2 buffer tube. Once replaced, this stock will fit and function as intended. You can find an A2 buffer tube kit by using the link below:

The HERA Arms CQR Buttstock GEN.2 is a fixed stock that is compatible with any AR15 or AR10 that has a rifle length A2 buffer tube and buffer system.

I contacted Hera Arms directly, and was told that the gen 2 will be completely different

can this stock use the HERA spacers

The HERA Arms CQR Buttstock GEN.2 is not compatible with Hera CQR Spacers. Those spacers are only compatible with Gen 1 CQR stocks. The Gen 2 uses an adjustable shoulder rest/buttplate that can be adapted to the users arm length.

The finish between manufacturers cannot be guaranteed to match. For how the Tan finish of the HERA Arms CQR Buttstock GEN.2 compares to another manufacturer's finish I recommend contacting HERA Arms.
