To fit the HERA Arms CQR Buttstock GEN.2 you would have to replace your buffer tube and buffer system with a rifle length A2 buffer tube. Once replaced, this stock will fit and function as intended. You can find an A2 buffer tube kit by using the link below:

The "buffer tube" on the M&P 15-22 is not a separate part from the lower reciever and therefore cannot be replaced. If it is not the rifle length mil-spec dimensions you will need to select another stock for it.
