It says it requires a rifle length buffer and buffer tube... What prevents the carbine buffer tube from working? Expert Answer

The HERA Arms CQR Buttstock GEN.2 can only fit a rifle length A2 buffer tube. A carbine length Mil-spec or commercial tube does not fit due to dimensional differences between them and A2 tubes.

Will this fit a m&p 15-22 Expert Answer

To fit the HERA Arms CQR Buttstock GEN.2 you would have to replace your buffer tube and buffer system with a rifle length A2 buffer tube. Once replaced, this stock will fit and function as intended. You can find an A2 buffer tube kit by using the link below:
