I got this for a rifle build that was, to me, and unusual build. Went with a 12.7x42mm (.50 Beowulf) rifle build this time, and this seemed like the best “otherworldly” stock for an unusual AR-15 build. Plus the foregrip was on sale here and after I got the parts I needed ordered, OP put added a 2 day shipping code… I missed that deal! Anyway, I got to the stock install portion of building the lower and found I needed to have an A2 style, non-adjustable buffer tube. So I ordered a new buffer tube and swapped one out from another rifle I had that had a fixed A2 stock. The stock bolts tougher nicely after the grip is secured, BUT..!! I had drill out the pistol grip bolt hole. It was too small of a diameter to allow the regular pistol grip bolt to go through it. The bolt threaded the plastic on its way in, and that caused issues. After opening up the grip mount hole just a touch, it bolted up easily. Once the A2 style buffer tube was installed, the stock itself bolted up and to the grip easily. Solid. I like it! Will update after firing some rounds but it feels good to hold. Plus, it looks fantastic in every aspect of the term. Ready for dinosaur or alien being hunting…..
