The HERA Arms CQR Buttstock GEN.2 can only fit a rifle length A2 buffer tube. A carbine length Mil-spec or commercial tube does not fit due to dimensional differences between them and A2 tubes.

The rifle length buffer tube is longer than a carbine length buffer tube. The lock up system with the stock is also different.
