It will not fit without significant modification. The M1941 sniper conversion requires drilling and tapping the receiver for the rear base (0.860" hole spacing, center to center) and cutting into the hard guard to drill and tap the barrel for the front base (0.560" hole spacing, center to center).
The spacing between the front and rear bases needs to be 7.250" in order to get the 1/4 MOA click adjustments.

For some reason Hi-lux did not copy the original Unertl dovetail block dimensions (However, the hole spacing IS CORRECT)
-Unertl Scope rings WILL NOT fit on the dovetail blocks from a Gen II Malcolm
-A Gen II will fit on Vintage Unertl/Lyman dovetail blocks but will be offset to the Right of bore by .030-.040"
