Does it come with the barrel nut, and if so, what is it made of and what's the design?

Yes, it should include the barrel nut. The part is made of 6061 aircraft aluminum.

What is the exact length of the hand guard?

Unfortunately, that spec is not available. This handguard is designed to replace a rifle length handguard and mounting system, so it should be roughly 12.5" in length.
