A: The issue of fitment is with the length of your action slide tube. Older models have a 7 3/4" length tube, as where newer models have a 6 5/8" tube. Most aftermarket forgeries are designed to fit 7 3/4". I believe Hogue makes an adapter for the shorter tube, you can check directly on there website. I recommend purchasing the wrench for removing/installing the tube, as this job can be a real PITA!! I hope this helps. I really like the Hogue furniture by the way, a great upgrade.

No. The Hogue Mossberg 500 OverMolded Shotgun Stock kit includes a flat washer for the stock to be used with the factory bolt, but does not include a wrench for the forend.

It's for the 12-gauge. By the way, Hogue says
- A flat washer MUST be used with the factory stock bolt. A washer is included with the stock. The Hogue stock is designed to reuse the factory stock bolt with the addition of the flat washer.
- The stock bolt (not included) is a 5 ½”long 5/16” – 18 TPI with a flat washer, available at any quality hardware store, gun parts retailer, or from Mossberg directly.
