Green illumination is green illumination . Meaning it has green illuminated background with white or black heat marks like people or animals etc it has nothing to do with the reticle
The red dot is zeroed first with standard flat turrets. At that point, the thermal digital reticle is aligned with it while the thermal is at 1x zoom. Once the process is complete, you can use either independently and it will have the same point of impact. It is a simple process and works in the same way as most other digital optics.
Agreed, this sight has a thermal optical zoom of 1X, 3X, and 5X. The 5X is a bit grainy IMO.
The Holosun Digital Reflex Thermal Sight has been recoil rated up to 1000G. 458 SOCOM produces 833G's, meaning this optic will function as intended paired with a .458 SOCOM rifle.
Yes it can. I was able to view the thermal image on the holographic screen through a set of green pvs14 gen 3+ NVG. The setup was very clear and did not wash out the PVS.
Yes, the Holosun Digital Reflex Thermal Sight has been bench tested up to 1000G. This means it can withstand recoil from larger caliber firearms including .308 and 12GA shotguns.
Yes, the Holosun Digital Reflex Thermal Sight is rated for 1000G of recoil. Because .300 Win Mag produces 653G's, the Holosun DRS-TH will function as intended.
Yes. Its rated for high g load
On the thermal version of this sight, the provided instructions state 50,000 hours of use in red dot only mode.
The thermal version of this sight (Holosun 1x Digital Reflex Thermal Sight) is thermal and/or red dot only. No digital night vision.
