Yes, if you refer to your instruction manual it will provide a way to turn the "Shake Awake" feature off. This is the generic instructions provided by Holosun:
The default sleep timer setting is 10 min, but can be adjusted
1) Press and hold the “+” button for 10 seconds to enter time adjustment mode. There are 4 options: 10 min, 1h, 12h or the sleep mode is disabled.
2) Press and release either “+” or “-” button to set the time. The LED will blink (1=10 min,2=1h, 3=12h, or4=disable sleep mode.
3) Press the “+” and “-” buttons simultaneously to save the time setting and power off the sight
Yes, there is a way to turn it off, but I would love to hear anyone's reason to do that. Even it the sight was left on 24x7x365, the battery life is 50,000 hrs. That's 5.7 years. So, even if your kept this on a pony on a boat on the ocean, it would last for 5.7 years. Wouldn't you want to change out that battery after 5 or so years anyway?
it doesnt work it tried with my HS510c
Please note that your red dot will automatically enter into sleep mode After 8 hours of no movement.
The sleep time delay could be adjusted from 0 to 12 hours.
Sleep time delay
Press the “+” button for 3 seconds to enter time adjustment mode. The red dot will blink. The number of blinks represents the current time delay. One blink represents one hour of time delay (e.g. 8 blinks - 8 hours) Press the “+” or ”-” button to set the time. Pressing”+” or”-” one or more times will increase or decrease the time by one hour for each press. The LED will blink once to confirm each time a button is pressed. If the sleep time delay is set to”0”, the feature is disabled.
Then press the “+” button for 3 seconds to confirm the new setting and exit the time adjustment mode
