Has anyone added just 1 Tungsten weight to the standard SCS-15 gen2 to make it more like a H1 buffer instead of carbine?

Yes, adding one Tungsten weight will make it equivalent to an H1. Two of these will make it an H2, and of course, three will make it an H3.

The JP Enterprises Gen 2 Tungsten Weight will not work with the first generation SCS.
