The manufacturer doesn't provide that information in regards to the JP Enterprises Jp-15/22R Upper Assembly. I recommend contacting them to see if the bolt locks back once the magazine is empty and if the bolt catch works with their bolt.

The bolt locks back on the mag follower. Because it’s on the follower, the bolt release does not send the bolt forward. This is the only issue I’ve found where mil spec controls aren’t 100% functional with this upper.
