The manufacturer doesn't provide that information in regards to the JP Enterprises Jp-15/22R Upper Assembly. I recommend contacting them to see if the bolt locks back once the magazine is empty and if the bolt catch works with their bolt.
Best 22 barreled upper for the ar platform. Outstanding quality and accuracy From their super match barrel fit and finish is on par with everything from jp spendy but worth the product you received would recommend

Of all the high end uppers I have this is probably the cleanest of them all...and it's a 22!
Haven't fitted the final glass yet but it's runs flawlessly and groups well.
