it's quieter but cumbersome to install.
perhaps a urethane buffer would be a better options,

good price, poor performance

With 2x 5shot groups at 25m this ammo averaged 1.06inch (measured outer edges of holes) in my 10/22 with Kidd barrel & .80inch my JP Rifles 22lr upper.
Neither rifle experienced failures with this ammo.
I've found better accuracy at the same price point with CCI AR-Tactical & Minimag ammo types.

Review for
JP Enterprises Jp-15/22R Upper Assembly
I’ve read many positive reviews of JP products & they led me to the purchase of this upper. What initially caught my eye out of the box was the rough looking unchamfered crown. Not only did it look rough, but it easily caught fibers after I laid it on my bedspread and picked it back up. Most JP supermatch barrels have a distinctive blended muzzle treatment that makes the barrel and muzzle device appear a single piece. Unfortunately this treatment isn’t applied to the 22lr barrel.
CONS:
Rough unchamfered crown.
Proprietary charging handle so no upgrades.
Proprietary barrel-handguard mounts so no M-lok attachments.
No built-in strap mounts, $34 for JP's handgaurd mount.
Stiff spring causes failure-to-feed for most subsonics & some hypersonics.
PROS:
Worked great with my non-JP lower.
More accurate than expected after reading post-purchase reviews.
Compared 52x mostly quality ammo types against my 10/22 with Kidd barrel.
Shooting 2x 5round groups at 25m(27yd/82ft), the 10/22 averaged .60 inch & the JP .91 inch
