Will the G19 gen5 compensator work with the KI gen4 barrel? What are the differences? Is it a cosmetic difference or functional?

A compensator for the Gen 5 should fit. The barrel threading is the main detail to match. The differences between generations will mostly just leave an aesthetic difference as the front of the slide is rounded instead of squared off.

Unfortunately, no, our compensators are not designed to work with the Glock 26.

KI comps are designed for their specific Glock lines (G17/G19/G45). These have not been tested on a Glock 48, and we cannot recommend using them on models they were not designed for.

I would recommend using the Killer Innovations Velocity Glock 17/19 Gen 3 Barrel Compensator, which will be better contoured to your War Poet's slide, which is based off Gen 3 Glocks.

I just purchased a glock 19x, will I need to purchase a specific barrel to fit this compensator or does it fit the 19x “AS IT IS”?

You will need to purchase a 1/2x28 threaded barrel in order to install this Killer Innovations Velocity Glock 17/19 Gen 5 Barrel Compensator. I would recommend the TRYBE Defense Glock 19/19X/45 Match Grade Threaded Pistol Barrel, found by using the link below:

Yes. The Killer Innovations Velocity Glock 17/19 Gen 5 Barrel Compensator will work on a Glock 19, Glock 17, and 19x.

Where doest he o-ring go? The manual simply says "be sure to remove the rubber o-ring when installing the compensator" and isn't mentioned again.

They are referring to the rubber o-rings some people use to retain the thread protectors on their barrels. They are saying take it off before installing this comp.

As long as it's threaded 1/2x28 and is 9mm or a smaller caliber it will. Aesthetics may not match up though.
