I tried to mount this on the RIA VR80. It won&#039;t fit my rail. Am I missing something? Are there multiple different picatanny rails that I&#039;m unaware of?

This should definitely fit the top rail on the VR80. It should mount from the side of the rail and rock onto the slot from right to left. The "lever" should be in the pushed in and when it gets mounted the "lever" will come out to the locked position. Here is a good video showing a Sidelok being mounted:
