Would this rail fit on my 16 inch barrel AR15?

This rail would fit any standard 16 inch upper receiver, but this handguard requires the removal of the existing gas system to have a proprietary barrel nut installed. Then the handguard would require a low profile gas block so the handguard can install over the gas system. This will NOT work with an AR that has a fixed front sight. This is a free float rail meant to be used with a low profile gas block.

First time AR owner. Will this fit the DPMS 5.56 oracle

If you have a DPMS Oracle with the railed gas block it will not fit without you replacing the gas block with a low profile gas block and you would need to install the proprietary barrel nut included with the handguard. This is a free float handguard which means it only makes contact with the firearm at the receiver and would need to slip over the gas block which is not possible with a railed gas block.

It does not. The barrel nut can be installed with a standard armorers wrench.

12 inch, it is the FF RAS "long"...their picture is of the medium unfortunately.
