Am I also able to use a regular BCG and charging handle with a gas system in the same upper with this system if I want to switch BCGs and shoot semi?

Does this upper work with Bear Creek Arsenals Side charging bcg

The manufacturer doesn't state if the Lantac LA00270 Side Charger Multi-Caliber Receiver can be used with the Bear Creek Arsenal Side charging handle BCG. I recommend contacting the manufacturer to see if this receiver is compatible with that BCG.

Can the bolt be changed to other calibers,such as 224 Valkyrie ?

Yes. The Lantac Side Charger Multi-Caliber upper is designed for use with multiple calibers including 224 Valkyrie.

Is upper left handed

The upper is not technically left handed. The side charger is on the right hand side, making it easier for a left handed person to charge the rifle, but the ejection port is also on the right hand side meaning you may get some gasses to blow back at the shooter.

can this be used with a piston drive upgrade? Does the charging handle moven with the BCG?

The product on this page is just the upper receiver. Without the use of one of Lantac's proprietary BCG's it will not work as a side charging system, and would function with a traditional BCG and charging handle.

Using this upper with a Lantac side charging BCG will make the handle reciprocate with the rest of the BCG. Currently Lantac does not offer a BCG for use in piston systems.
