You can replace the front sight on an AR but if it is an A2 front sight you would need to get a low profile gas block to replace it. For more information email us at techsales@opticsplanet.com.

I am not getting my question across correctly. The actual post, the price that is adjusted up & down on any AR front sight, can you remove it on this sight and upgrade it to a night time one or a fiber optic one?

Yes. It uses a standard A-2 front sight post that can be replaced with any post of the same dimensions. Per picture six of nine. I will say if the replacement post is beefier it may not because the cutout around the post area on this site is small
