The inner diameter is 1.33 inches. It does not have a built-in QD socket, but Leapers UTG makes an M-Lok QD attachment: https://www.opticsplanet.com/leapers-utg-pro-m-lok-standard-qd-sling-adaptor.html

It will only fit your Carbon 15 if yours has a mil-spec upper receiver.

The handguard does require use of a special barrel nut, which ships with the handguard.
