No, it's a reference to a standardized sling attachment point that various model firearms have incorporated into their designs, which allows you to attach the bipod to that point that a sling would originally go.

The "swivel stud" is the same stud that a QD sling swivel would attach too. The bipod has an adapter that attaches to the stud in stead of the sling...that is why some firearms have two studs in the forearm...one for a sling, one for a bipod..
