No. The Leupold LCO Carbine Optic Red Dot is still being produced by Leupold.
Any standard AR magnifier will work as long as its able to be set at a 1.4-1.5 inch height.
It will not require any other hardware to mount to that rifle.
The Leupold LCO Carbine Optic Red Dot has a reticle with a 1MOA dot. The 1MOA is the size of the dot, which means the dot will cover 1 inch of a target at 100 yards.
No, the optic will not loose Zero.
First of all I don't have any affiliation with Optics Planet or Leupold. With that said I did a lot of research on the LCO that Optics Planet was selling and everything checked out good. I bought my Leupold from Optics Planet and when I got it delivered I called Leupold and gave them the serial number off of the optic and it was the real deal and not a fake. I'm actually thinking about buying another LCO for my DDM4A1.
Any standard AR height red dot magnifier will work as long as its set near an absolute co-witness height of 1.4-1.5 inches.
The LCO is night vision compatible.
