Will this sight mount on the new Mossberg 940 turkey shotgun?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Hunter, Gear Expert, from OH, United States, on April 04, 2022

The Mossberg 940 Turkey Shotgun has a mounting base to accept Shield RMSc footprint red dots. So yes, the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro 2.5 MOA Red Dot Sight can be mounted to that gun.

The Walther PDP F Series will accept a variety of mounting footprints and red dots including the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro 2.5 MOA Red Dot Sight. You will need to order the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro 2.5 MOA Red Dot Sight mounting plate from Walther for your model PDP. All red dots will need a compatible mounting plate from Walther to mount to the PDP series pistols.

what is the difference between the 2.5 and the 7.5?

A
Answered by K42inWA, member, from WA, United States, on August 25, 2019

The 2.5 moa is a red dot or point. Whereas the 7.5 moa is a triangle, or delta. Although the delta may obscure more of the target, its larger size should make it easier to acquire; for longer, more precise shooting, you can zero it to use the fine top of the triangle at a slight 6 o'clock holdover and have effectively a more precise reticle than any dot.

The FN FNX-45 Tactical should come with the adapter plate you need to mount this on the pistol.

Will this optic co-witness on a Canik TP9SFX

That will depend on what sights you have. If you are running suppressor height sights, you should be able to co-witness them. It will not work with normal height sights.
