MPN: 170703 will come with a free CDS voucher included in the packaging so you will not need to pay for the first dial. If you want additional dials, they will be extra charges.

MPN: 170699 is the standard model while MPN: 170703 is the model with the Custom Dial System (CDS) voucher included in the box.

What does side focue mean and what does it do? looking at Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x40. what does side focus mean.

The side focus adjusts parallax to focus the target at certain distances. It does the same thing an adjustable objective does.

Does the Leupold Mark 2 IMS Integral Mounting System work on a Savage 110 Long Range Hunter .280 AI Bolt Action Rifle ?

Technically it will work as long as the rifle has a picatinny rail. But we would highly recommend using a set of rings instead of the one piece mount included in the kit because the mount is set at an AR height and would be taller than necessary on that rifle with this scope.
