Yes, the scope with a TMOA also features the CDS technology. The scope has a fast-focus feature built into the eyepiece itself. The adjustment on the side is a parallax adjustment- Leupold's instructions are to "move your head slightly up and down while turning the side parallax or adjustable objective ring until the reticle does not move in relation to the target."
