Which rings are needed to mount this scope to Savage 93r17 that comes with bases ?

To mount the Leupold VX-Freedom 2-7x33mm Rifle Scope to a Savage 93R17 F with the Weaver bases I recommend using the 1" diameter medium rings at the link below.

Will this scope handle the recoil of a 12 gauge? Can this be used as a scope for a slug gun?

The Leupold VX-Freedom 2-7x33mm Rifle Scope has a linear field of view on its lowest magnification (ft@100yds) of 43.8, and a linear field of view at its highest magnification (ft@100yds) of 29.8.

This riflescope can be used on just about any rifle that has the proper mounts. This rifle scope and the one you described are for different applications and have different features because of that so they are not very comparable in that regard. Will this scope be good for Henry 45-70?

Most definitely. I use the 2-7x33mm for my Ruger No 1s in 45-70 and 30-30. It is a nice sized scope for rifles with effective ranges out to 150 yards, and keeps your rifle trim.
