Will this work with an AR 15 with an A2 front sight? I have an Smith&Wesson MP sport 2.

When a magnified optic is mounted on the flat top receiver, the A2 front sight will not be used. This is because the focal plane for optical use will be outside the rifle barrel's length. Yes this mount will work, no you will not be using the A2 front sight with a magnified optic.
