This Luth-AR .223 Rifle Buffer Tube Assembly is a complete standard A2 buffer kit to convert your AR15 carbine to a rifle length buffer tube recoil system. You would be able to use buttstocks compatible with the A2 buffer system.

Will there be any issues if using a mid-length gas system?

Expert Answer

Answered by Ethan, Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on October 12, 2022

The Luth-AR .223 Rifle Buffer Tube Assembly will work with an AR15 that uses a mid-length gas system. However, because the buffer is 5.1 ounces, you may need to purchase a lighter weight buffer in order to achieve reliable functionality.

Will this work for a .450 Bushmaster

Expert Answer

Answered by Hunter, Gear Expert, from OH, United States, on February 15, 2022

Yes, the Luth-AR .223 Rifle Buffer Tube Assembly should work with a 450 Bushmaster with the appropriate gas system. However, I would recommend a heavier buffer system like the Aero Precision Enhanced Carbine Buffer Kit, the H2 or H3 model. You can find that kit here:
